This next tip is especially useful for Greedy Girls(& Guys) with families and significant others that aren’t on our same weight management path. When cooking for others we often run into the problem of making separate meals one for them and a diet friendly one for ourselves. Or we overeat the one meal that has been prepared and calling it a “cheat night”.
So here’s the solution: While everyone else eats on the regular size dinner plates, you grab a snack size plate or appetizer plate. Using the smaller plate will automatically reduce the amount of food you eat without having to measure or make a conscious effort to get those smaller scoops of sides. You can fill up your small plate and enjoy the same meal your family is eating.
Shopping Tip: Hefty (and I’m sure many other brands) makes snack size plates so if you don’t want to buy extra dishes this is an easy alternative to just pick up in the supermarket.

I was just now searching for about this when I found your blog post. I’m simply stopping by to say that I really liked reading this post, it is really well written. Are you going to write more on this? It looks like there is more material here for later posts.
